Ameila Waud | Entertainment

At only four years old, Amelia Waud’s musical career began and has grown over the years. Starting with piano, this young multi-talented musician took up drums in grade four and has since added violin, guitar and ukulele to her repertoire. After taking a break from music to focus on her studies, Amelia has fallen back in love with music again. “Last year, I picked up my guitar again, I started to sing and write my own music, and now… it’s really the only thing I think about. I’m just in love with it.”

Her Indie-Alternative sound has been compared to artists like The Lumineers, Nick Drake, Lucy Dacus and Ed Sheeran. Prepare to be captivated by Amelia’s unique sound that while soothing, is truly unforgettable.

Amelia is excited to be a part of GenNext’s inaugural signature event. She is proud to perform at an event where those in attendance share an interest in topics that concern her and her peers.

Amelia looks to find new inspiration for her music as she ventures to India for a year-long exchange. Watch for Amelia’s new album set to release on SoundCloud after the summer.
